Ashten Akins  grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and has a strong tie to her family, friends, and community.

She is 21 years old and a graduate of American Christian Academy.

She has always loved music and singing. Her love of music and the feeling that she has to follow of heart has led to a career in the music industry. She has worked diligently to complete an album and three music videos in a very short time frame. Working with her manager Valerie Akins and producer Steve Oliver she has met and worked with Nashville's A TEAM of studio musicians including : Buddy Hyatt, Brent Mason, Scotty Sanders, Lonnie Wilson, Bobby Terry, Duncan Mullins, and sound engineer  Zach Allen. She recorded her album at Starstruck Entertainment, Sound Stage, and OceanWay  Studios. 

 Her album is set to be released in 2021. She is currently working playing  shows, writing and recording music.
